My fans stopped turning on soon enough

Powered by 2007 Grand Prix GXP (LS4 V8). My coolant temp was getting too high and turning on the heater (forcing the fan) would bring it back to normal, so after reading some data I figured it was the sensor that was bad. Removed the radiator cap to relieve the pressure. I removed the wire from the nearest spark plug. Disconnected the stiffness from the sensor. Place a rag under the sensor, ready for any spills. A 19mm deep head is used. Prepare the new sensor, remove the old sensor and quickly

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Crumpled

Fixed 2003 Saturn Ion 3

I had an issue with my 2003 Saturn Ion 3. This car was great but it started to rev at high revs. The mechanic told me that I probably need a new temperature sensor. I went to my trusty Amazon, found this part, got it delivered to my house 2 days later and installed it. Took < 30 minutes and was done. Requires a 3/4 head. fast hands. This sensor is installed directly behind the engine block on the driver's side. Disconnect the small sensor connector and slide it over the 3/4" deep socketโ€ฆ

  • Pretty impressive

Code P0128 Fixed for 2003 Chevy Express 2500 6.0

I have Code P0128 Coolant Temperature Not High Enough on my 2003 Chevy Express Van with 6.0L Gasoline Engine. Weeks before the code appeared, a local mechanic replaced the original thermostat after noticing my temp gauge was low. Unfortunately it wasn't the thermostat. I checked the coolant temp with my scan tool before replacing the old sensor. It read 61 degrees Fahrenheit, the new one installed in a cold engine read 77. As I warmed up the engine, the new read 194-198, the old read about 154โ€ฆ

Wrong part fitted broken

Wrong part but looks identical I fitted the part and my wife took the truck and it broke it stopped next to the highway and has rolled over but not clockwork, my old part had the plastic peeling away from the metal but I glued it back together and reinstalled and my truck started right away, I noticed the outlet I was using didn't fit the old one matched, so either the wrong part matched or the wrong item was packed in an ACDelco box, so be sure and make sure your part number is correct.
