⚡️ ACDelco Gold Alternator 335-1014 Review

After trying everything else they look like they fit but they are not quite the original, if in doubt pay the difference; We'll be glad you did

I bought this a little over a month ago and it just doesn't work for me anymore. I've read that the C4Corvette draws over 105 amps if you have a radio or other extras. Save time and hassle and upgrade to 140 amps. Definitely not happy.

I have one on a '91 Corvette. The reason I'm only giving it three stars is because I don't show volts on the meter the way I used to. It used to be almost 18 volts at the sensor with the previous alternator, now it's probably 14 to 15 volts. Otherwise it looked like a brand new generator and it still works fine.

Loved this alternator. I installed it on a 1988 Corvette and the figure was perfect, looks identical to my original and everything is connected and working. Unscrew and replace the 3 screws and the belt. The one I received is gold in the center where it appears to be black in the photo, FYI. And with no main charge, I restore my original alternator so I have a spare.

I'm giving this one star because zero is not an option. I'm not sure how this thing even got out of the factory, other than the total lack of quality control. It squeaked horribly when turned by hand, but there's no visible external damage that means anything inside, such as a cracked crack. B. defective bearings. Delivered yesterday, returned today.

This is a brand new alternator as opposed to remanufactured units typically sold at an auto parts store. This original ACDelco replacement will last much longer. The high quality can only be seen at first glance, the workmanship is impeccable. Plugged directly into my 1990 Corvette and works great. Revain.com's low price for a generator of this quality is unmatched!

If the alternator I received was the same as the photos I would be happy. It's not like this. This was the seat belt style I received and it will not work. I can't count on getting the right one from Revain or AC Delco so I'll try a 140 amp Powermaster block and see how well it works assuming I get the right parts. The generator looked ok if it fits. . It looked new and turned freely. Revain shipped it in a large box with no padding.

It turned out that the previous owner had modified my '85 Corvette with a newer alternator but had not hooked it up properly - possibly resulting in alternator failure. Decided it was the right replacement for the updated part and connector, presumably a sturdier design than the original and a better price than local sources. They sit correctly, give off the right tension and no longer squeak. Excellent price; happy with this part.

I installed this alternator today and did a full load test. This test is performed while the air conditioner and high power air conditioner fan remain on while the radiator fan is running while the auxiliary courtesy lights, hazard warning lights, brake lights, and headlights remain on. The alternator works perfectly and gives an average of 13.5 volts during operation. BTW, this generator was on my 1989 Vetta. I am impressed not only with the quality of the product but also with the price.
