I received this to replace an aerator that could not be repaired with normal cleaning. I liked the ability to switch to the shower spray, but doubted the utility of the swivel. I have to say that my flow is well aerated and smooth after installation. The shower function works great and combined with the swivel I can get the water to most parts of the sink without having to pull out the spray. If you don't have a separate atomizer, this is a nice feature and very functional.

Here is such a cool adapter. Well connected, there's a missed hole in full flow so it's a shaky spray. The other function works fine. HOWEVER, and the reason I am returning it is that red water comes out the first time you turn on the faucet! I learned this after installing it in my van for a week and then checking everything before the trip when I turned on the RED WATER. It washes off, but after a few hours the water is RED again. I installed this aerator and it was leaking. I was playing around with it and wanted to send it back. PLEASE NOTE: When I returned it in the original packaging I accidentally noticed a very light colored washer in the bag. Eureka! I put this washer in place, tightened it up and, VOILA - dry as a bone. So right now it works like a charm. After a month of use, I noticed metal parts in my water cup. It was like small shiny confetti, closer to the size of glitter. On closer inspection, it looks like strips of metal. I suspected the problem was in that faucet nozzle and started disassembling it. Immediately I see a pile of dirt accumulating in the filter head. I keep pushing and find the source of the metal. I needed a 360 degree faucet head because I like washing on the sides of the sink. The faucet head is very pretty and works great, but it doesn't rotate 360 degrees and it's very, very big. Ordered shortly but like the other reviewer received it long. The spray part works very well. Too bad the hose (which only comes with a long hose that we don't need) leaks at both ends and water splashes. The fittings don't leak when you put the washers in, but the hose itself will leak and splash water where it connects to the fittings. There's nothing you can do about it. Although the head is a bit larger than some of the other options I settled on this item. The range of motion is about 30 degrees out of plumb and gives enough spray to clean the sink.
