Popular with coffee enthusiasts worldwide, the patented AeroPress is a new kind of coffee press that uses a rapid, total immersion brewing process to make smooth, delicious, full flavored coffee without bitterness and with low acidity. Unlike a French press, it can also brew cold brew style coffee or espresso style coffee for use in lattes, cappuccinos and other espresso based drinks. Perfect for home kitchen use, the AeroPress is lightweight, compact, portable and durable. The tote bag makes it easy to pack with some coffee and a cup for use while traveling, camping, backpacking, boating and more!. Includes the AeroPress press, funnel, scoop, stirrer, 350 microfilters, a filter holder, and a zippered nylon tote bag. Phthalate free and BPA free. Mug not included. Assembled measurements: 9 1/2" h X 4" w X 4" d.

False advertising or fatal conversion error (1 to 4 stars)

I've been looking for coffee filters for my Bunn coffee maker for a while (after Revain gave up on another manufacturer's filters) that would match my coffee maker. Bann requires 56mm diameter filters. Eventually I came across AeroPress filters claiming to be 2 1/5 inch in diameter. Diameter conversion: 2 1/5 inch = 2.2 inch = 56 mm (1 inch = 25.4 mm). Bingo! After more than a year I finally found the right filters again. until the package arrived and I tried to insert the filters. The filters…

Pros
  • Goodbye French Press! The quick AeroPress brew avoids the bitterness and high acidity that comes from long steeping in a French Press. Plus, the AeroPress paper microfilter removes dirt and cleans in seconds.
Cons
  • Not sure

I HATE black coffee!

I am 45 years old and have not had more than a dozen cups of black coffee that I can say I have enjoyed. Too bitter, too strong, too much sediment, too low. I love coffee with additives like cream, milk, sugar etc. And who doesn't love S-Bucks branded drinks with flavors and such. I had every coffee maker known to man. Mocha pots, French presses, drip machines, Keurig and so on. I've never invested in an espresso machine because a good machine costs $$$ and the cheap ones I've tried are no…

Terrible design with fatal error

This product is a french press in a tube, but there's an annoying design flaw: no matter how you squeeze it, then twist to secure it, the smaller filter disc at the bottom won't hold up. attached to the brew tube when there is at least one coffee grounds in the thread path. This means as soon as you push the plunger through the tube, the lower filter disc pops out, sending the filter, coffee grounds and hot water into your coffee mug. This creates a huge and annoying mess. The only way to lock…

Cons
  • Some bugs

I believed all the amazing reviews and thought I would get an easy to use, inexpensive device to make great espresso. I can almost excuse the 5 or 6 pieces of plastic that make up this unit (most of which need to be cleaned AFTER each use). It is certainly NOT sustainable to waste gallons of water washing every day. My real problem is that it is REALLY HARD / PRACTICALLY IMPOSSIBLE to use the device. After adding the coffee and filling the tube with water, GOOD LUCK for pushing the water…

The possibilities are endless!

I bought this for my girlfriend who loves coffee and she wasn't convinced at first. I'll admit that there's something unmistakably trashy and even repulsive about his appearance. Everything about it screams "as seen on TV" and how you react to the Huckster will most likely determine your first impression of the AeroPress (the people who brought you the Aerobie Superdisc and the Flying Ring). But try this cheap thing! The proof is actually in the pudding, and once you overcome the initial…
