🚲 Allen Sports 2-Bike Hitch Racks: Versatile Solution for 1 1/4 in. and 2 in. Hitch Review

This product is ok. The kit should include a strap to keep the bike from swaying. I used 2 elastic cords: one wrapped around the frame, the other wrapped around the hoop. Both are attached to the frame. Without these two elastic cords; I would never trust my bike on this rack as there is too much wobble and tire shifting. Overall I like the stance, I just need a little more support.

DO NOT BUY THIS LUGGAGE RACK FOR YOUR CAMP OR TRAILER. We bought it in August 2017 to hang on our fifth wheel and in October 2017 the strut broke in half while driving on the interstate. I had a hard time choosing a bike rack but I'm glad I chose this one. TRUCK. I found very little information about it on Revain. I drive a Honda Ridgeline and am pleased to report that this bracket tilts just enough for my tailgate to be used normally. What other people say about the trunk not fitting directly into the hitch is 100% true. While tightening the bolt through the hitch keeps the rack from rocking side to side, the rack still bounces up and down a lot, which I don't think is safe to carry bikes that way. Wait until the lock is repaired to buy. Once installed, it works great and is reliable. BUT now I can't pull the rack out of the receiver. One of the keys broke on the second use and it was difficult to push the button in to release it, but I managed. Okay, so this thing has good reviews overall, but there's been a lot of talk about wobble - and it's true. I ended up buying it because a lot of people seem to have passed it by.
