The clamps you should be using to determine where the wobble is coming from are only for the thinnest (read: cheapest) blades. I thought they were at least flexible plastic or rubber but it was hard plastic that didn't fit my blades and broke when I tried to attach the clip with the slightest force. Bullshit, unless you have one of those cheap fans with flimsy plastic blades.

This set was terrible. The clamp on the weights was not flexible at all so it broke immediately. You can see it in the picture. I have a regular home fan, nothing particularly thick, I just think they were either made out of the wrong material or the blade spacing was too small. I thought about giving them an extra star for how hilariously flawed the instructions were. My son found it quite funny that all the spaces were missing.

This is a good product but I would not order again. I don't have the ability to weigh the clamps and weight but they don't seem to be the same. If they are the same, this should be stated on the website. The weights hold up very well, but they're thick enough to sit on top of the fan. All weights have the same weight. A small clip can replace the broadcast clip. A penny, nickel, or quarter taped to a fan sticks out less and is less noticeable. Just follow the included instructions if you can…

You may need to experiment a little. We try every blade, weight here, weight there. Then we try two blades. Be methodical, be persistent. You will find the right place to attach the weight. Everything was in the package. But the first clip I tried to use broke when I put it on the first fan blade. I was able to use the second clip, but I couldn't fully mount it onto the fan blades. It stuck out a little. But I was able to get it working. The instructions really needed to be read as they were sentences with no spaces. You need to decipher where the spaces should be to understand the instructions. Luckily I already knew how to use it and the internet is full of guides and videos.

The first box of fan weights I bought had a clip and two weights. It wasn't enough for this fan. I bought another bag with two clamps and four weights. All six weights were barely enough to balance this fan. If I had to make it all over again I would start with one large pack and then take another large pack when I need one.
