Pros: - Works great with USB-C 3.1 ports. - Works great in combination with Anker's Slim USB 3.0 Hub to increase the number of USB 3.0 ports. ) Transfer to 2 2.5" USB hard drives (4TB each) with an Anker hub with this USB-C adapter easily. But it wasn't advertised as working with Thunderbolt 3, so I'm not deducting a star for that. You need a separate Thunderbolt adapter if you don't want your devices to be disconnected/reconnected every half hour when adjusting Thunderbolt 3.

This product does its job efficiently (e.g. adapts a USB 3.1 device to the Apple Lightning connector). I think it works better than some of the more complex devices because it's narrow enough at the Lightning port end that you can connect two ports at once. Some of the larger devices don't fit side by side, leaving you with an unusable port.
