Didn't work, not a fan.

We bought these replacement taps for our Brita UltraMax but unfortunately they didn't work. Now let's leave it hanging over the kitchen sink. Also, the faucet lever is in the opposite direction to what you might use on a Brita or other device with a faucet lever. It's a bit annoying when my fingers slide into the Brita's cutout to pull the faucet lever up instead of it's already in that direction and just pulling forward.

A good all-rounder

Let's start with "could be better", namely the seals in the kit. Gaskets do not allow deviations in the opening of the water jug. I spent quite a bit of time finding o-rings to center the nozzle in the glass hole to keep the included washers from moving off center and allowing water to seep through the washer. The O.D. of the original seals on the old hub was 50% larger, but I couldn't reuse them due to their age. To account for variations, larger shims would have saved me a lot of "accidental"

? Heat as a test object for a faucet?

Was glad to find this to fix our Brita filter. However, the original Brita faucet allowed the user to move away from the tank while pouring. This sleeve requires the user to hold the handle down. I brewed a gallon of tea that was kept in the fridge and would last for several days. Still, but now having to hold down a faucet to fill a gallon is tedious, but life is possible. This is IS 2020 after all. One more thing - the water flow from the nozzle is slow, less volume per second/minute than the

Works GREAT on a 5 GALL IGLOO cooler/dispenser

We keep honey bees and at this time of year (after honey harvest) they need to be fed sugar water. We feed them from inverted jars above each hive and need to replenish them every 3-4 days. We mixed the sugar water in a 5 gallon orange bucket, but then it was too much to lift and pour into glasses with funnels on top. That's how we came up with the idea of using the IGLOO cooler and it worked much better. down to the needle. Pressing this button while filling a gallon can at a time became…
