Indirect - Power & Hand Tools

I have a 6 inch and it was great. I really like the outer sleeve that rotates freely around the extension making it easier to tighten the screws. That 12" is not straight and will cause the bit to wobble, making it difficult to hold the screw in place. Would not recommend this bit extender.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Good socket for power tools and hand tools

Good for hex bits. I have screwdriver bits and hex bits and just pull down on this bit holder and I can put the bit back in. Let go and it stays in place. Saves a lot of time drilling with different bits or switching between bits. Too bad I bought it a long time ago. Feel free to buy this.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Doubtful

Suitable for short screwdrivers; not suitable for drills

I bought a 6" and 12" extension. They work well with short screwdrivers. Unfortunately, I bought them for use with 1/4" hex shank drill bits. Drill bits are good for loosening, and the extension and drill bit combo wobbles so much when you insert the bit that it can't be used for that purpose.

Pros
  • So far satisfied
Cons
  • A few small things

An excellent tool in terms of value for money.

Inexpensive and quality tool. The steel is strong, the holder holds the bit tight but comes off easily. I also have a Makita Impact Gold magnetic bit holder, I just wish the included magnet in the Ares holder would work just as strong to hold not just a screwdriver but a screw. Otherwise I like the 6" and 12" Ares quick change bit holders.

Pros
  • A lot of positive emotions
Cons
  • Some shortcomings

Bent on delivery, still working, make HVAC work easier.

I use this to work with HVAC systems, it has made my life a lot easier, however mine seems to be slightly bent, the shaft moves causing difficulty pulling or installing screws as they does not turn perfectly straight. Overall I like it and I like the sleeve that allows you to guide the tool without releasing it during use. I would buy another one if I knew it was perfect.

Pros
  • Permanent Test Results
Cons
  • Clarity

Great.: Power & Hand Tools

Bought this at the same time as the flex shaft from Makita which claims to be the only flex shaft that can be used with an impact wrench. I bought both as I wasn't sure what I needed to get to the insanely hidden screw on the TV mount that I could barely reach and have no idea how I attached it over 10 years ago . This one is so much stronger and lighter that I end up grabbing it first. This also made it easier to find the screw from a distance for the work to be done, since it does not bounce…

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • Not the best

Surprise great buy at Power & Hand Tools

Got this a few weeks ago after needing a new one. I found it to be of good quality. First I put it in the drill bit and it snapped into place on impact. Then I slowly turned the drill, there was no hesitation. I then used the black crank and it turned freely and smoothly. This screwdriver's bit holder contained several impact bits, such as a wobbler screwdriver and a 5/16 Tap-Con screwdriver, as well as several screwdriver bits. The bit holder caught on each of them. The beat release is very…
