Great set to save space behind the wall.

Used on an exterior wall so you don't have to compress the insulation in the wall. It came with two different sized screws and wasn't noticeable at first, but ended up fitting great. Unfortunately, my cable box came with a large wall power supply. I used an extension cord to connect it, but everything still fits between the TV and the wall.

Pros
  • Rugged design
Cons
  • Large and bulky

Good quality and easy installation.

I am very satisfied with this product. I don't use it for "normal" stuff but as part of a Raspberry project and had no problem making my project look nice. Unfortunately I have to print a cover where the Pi is located, but this is not a product defect. It would be cool if the manufacturer offered a separate purchase case for use in other projects.

A good product. Bad packaging. cheap screws.

The lid and TV box itself are not sealed or secured, so there are marks on them, probably from rubbing against each other during transport. One of the screws actually broke in half when screwing the bushing into the box (not over tightened). It can't be removed so I can't use that hole to fully secure the socket inside the box. I would use my own screws if I could do it again. Otherwise everything works as expected.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • The list is getting long.

So I installed this behind a new TV, installation is easy but the faceplate is part of the mounting hardware. . Tightening the screws will push the brackets against the drywall, but you must install the bezel first as it pushes from the front to mount. So if you ever need to remove the faceplate to paint etc, you're essentially taking everything off the wall.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Some small things

Everything works fine in this box. HOWEVER, I had to cut out the plastic and cut the piece that holds the socket. This was NOT due to sockets, but rather poorly fitting parts. Plus, getting the lid over the wall insert was a royal agony. It didn't fit very well as the mounting holes didn't line up with the recessed tabs. Now that it's installed everything is fine. but it was a lot more work to install than it needed to be. It was poor workmanship. If it were a car, it would be Hugo.

Ideal depth for mounting on a compact wall.

UPDATE - The seller sent me a replacement the next day and it's perfect! It fitted my wall perfectly (1/2" drywall on 1" thick batten strip over a concrete block). Assembly was easy and looks great! I highly recommend this product if you need to mount your TV on an outdoor or community wall. The product has arrived and will be exactly what I need. However, when it arrived and I opened the outer shipping box, I saw that the tape sealing the product packaging had been peeled off and then…

Low Profile TV Problem Solved

This box was perfect for my scenario. Flat tv mount for my 65" tv with about 1" of space behind the tv. The concrete block is only a few inches away from the drywall. Standard outlet to the outside. In this box, the socket is recessed and turned parallel to the wall, which allows you to connect the power cord without protruding. I bought a surge protector outlet for an additional $20 to replace the entire outlet. It should provide additional surge protection for the TV. Installation was very…
