My cats love to eat tuna, but this toothpaste was odorless and hated it, making it a lot harder to use. This was surprising because my cats love to eat and will eat almost anything so it was very disappointing for them not to.

I have used other toothpastes on my kitty and he seems to like these and licks his teeth but this was the complete opposite. He gagged and vomited and he didn't have it. As soon as I finished he vomited 5 times at once and hid in a corner with an injury. Now I stick to other brands.

This toothpaste is a big cat mistake. Mint? Serious? My cat doesn't want mint. Just make the pasta smell like fish and he'll be happy. I'm not concerned with freshening his breath, it's with preventing more expensive and scary anesthetic veterinary dental cleanings. I don't need human toothpaste, I need cat toothpaste. We (my cat and I) do not recommend this.

I have tuna taste and it doesn't smell like tuna. Smells like peanut butter and baking soda. My cat hates the smell and wasn't too happy when I rubbed toothpaste on his teeth. Many years ago I learned not to use a finger brush. The tooth seems too big for a cat's mouth. It is also mild for everyday use but cannot remove tartar. I use smelly toothpaste to get my cat to move away from me.

I wish this was a good review but the bottom line is none of my cats can tolerate this toothpaste. I've tried multiple times to get them to sniff or taste it and they both gag ridiculously each time and then look at me in disgust for even trying to get them to put it in their mouth or in their common area to want. It was tuna flavored because both guys are crazy about seafood, not poultry. Unfortunately it doesn't work for us.

Why am I being asked to rate the taste? It seems. rough. Also, my cats can't tell me they like it, so I'm skipping this review. I bought this mainly for the brush itself as my cat's mouth stinks and she presses on my claws and I don't. This product definitely helps with that BUT once the brush is in her mouth you basically have to move at the speed of light to get all the teeth before they crack. I'm not a cat wrestler. My cats are mean.

I don't know which cat would even try this toothpaste, but none of my cats even wanted to smell it. The same goes for my mother's cats, my cousins' cats, my aunt's cats, and my friends' cats. I literally only used about half a teaspoon - tested it on all 8 cats and to be honest all cats looked like they were trying to spit it out. The idea of having a toothpaste and brush for your cats is good because cats are prone to dental problems BUT my cats didn't like it at all, in fact one of them was so confused and annoyed with the product that he took it. clings to me, which he never does.
