I bought these because I wanted crushed ice but didn't want to be constantly breaking or crushing ice. These cubes are small enough to live up to expectations. Because these are hard cubes, they don't melt as quickly as crushed ice and won't dilute your drink as quickly. The best ice cube tray for making small (bubblegum shaped) ice cubes! If these trays are not full, the frozen cubes will fall out of the trays with minimal effort. I can empty (10) trays straight from the freezer, refill a standard sized ice bucket, and then come back to empty all the trays with stuck cubes again.
