I ran the Nimbus 12 for a while before considering buying a new pair of shoes so I could alternate my runs. I actually didn't have a version of the Kayano that I didn't like. For Asics and running they are one of my favorites. They are lighter than other Asics. It takes a while for the shoes to break in (if you walk a lot in the first few days you may get a blister or two. It may be better to run a few miles in the first few days.
