Type of review

Be sure to make sure that all elements fit snugly together and are not too loose / tight. Check that the plastic feed tube is fully inserted into the hot end and is firmly fixed. I bought this hot end twice, because. for the first time somewhere messed up during assembly. As a result, there was a jam inside, the feed mechanism began to slip, the print became of very poor quality. The plastic began to slowly but leak through the threaded connections and flooded the hot end from the outside. It…

  • The hotend is similar to the one that comes with the printer. In addition to it, the kit includes a tube for supplying plastic, a thermocouple, a heating element.

Broken nozzle

I don't often write reviews because 99% of the time I get exactly what is shown, but in this case the hotend I received was exactly as advertised but the attachment that came with it was faulty. As you can see in the picture the nozzle on the left is what comes with the hotend not the 0.4 as the nozzle on the right is the standard 0.4 nozzle that comes with the printer is delivered and the difference is quite obvious. When ordering, make sure your nozzle is not defective.

Will not work with Ender 3 with glass bed

bought 2 (to have a spare after replacing the original hotend) and once installed I couldn't get on the bed low enough. After measuring the whole part, I found that the hot end is 1.7mm longer than the original. After taking it apart and inspecting each part, I found that the heatsink was milled 1.7mm thinner than the original heatsink (see pictures). If I didn't already have a 3mm thick glass bed this might work, but at the moment I can't use it on my printer at all.

Not what you think. Normal bearing replacement! Not "All Metal "

I bought this because the description said "Metal" Hot End. Technically not a lie, but all hot ends are metal. When someone talks about hot metal, they usually mean a neck that doesn't require PTFE tubing. I bought this to replace the am Ender 3 and this one in particular is the same as the factory end which requires PTFE tubing. I will add one thing. The overall quality doesn't seem bad, the design looks the same as the factory. Ende and the guy who left the comment saying it didn't fit in his
