Better to have and not need.

This is augason farms so I know it will be good quality but the price of all their items is always high. Lasts a long time and I hope I never have to eat it.

Tetsy no. for camping and hiking

Potatoes are very good. east to do things differently. Hydrates quickly. But the container is almost impossible to open. I cut my hand twice. I won't buy it again because of that.

Pros
  • The best in its niche
Cons
  • Protection

A good product. Too much price gouging.

I love this product but I've seen the price go up so much it's insane. This kind of price gouging makes me go to another company for my products. My money, my choice.

Augason Farms Dehydrated Potato Chunks are so good, they're AMAZING!

Makes potato pancakes like in a restaurant. Augason Farms Dehydrated Potato Crumbs are easy to make and taste great. This family loves them and we keep a stash of them in our home. Make a good breakfast even better with these potato chips.

  • One year probationary period

Delicious and incredibly fresh food!

I've been doing this every morning since I got it! I know the directions say three to one (water to potato chips) and it totally works! . . . but I found that you can cut the cooking time in half by setting the water to pieces ratio to 2:1 πŸ™‚πŸ™‚πŸ™‚ It was in perfect condition and delicious!

  • Great for me

Good product, I like it.

I like the product. I find this product a great addition to my kitchen. When I bought potatoes from the store I never used them all before they rot and I have to throw them away. This fixes that issue. No waste. You don't have to peel the potatoes either. Just boil to rehydrate and they're ready to go. They also have a pleasant taste.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Communication with the seller

Great taste, easy to prepare

Good food. First of all I recommend getting a key to open the bucket lid as it fits snugly. The recommended portion is slightly smaller than what we usually eat. We're doubling the portion sizes. Easy to cook. Just boil them in water for 5 minutes, then we pan fry them with crisco or bacon fat with some onion powder. They're just as crunchy and flavorful as anything you'd expect from a greasy diner.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Fine

Convenient and tasty potato chips

After buying two cans of 10 to replace COVID-19, I decided to open one. I'm glad I did, so glad I bought the bucket! I cooked the potatoes following the instructions in the review and my family loves them - no need to peel, grate, rinse fresh potatoes! Super handy - add enough water to cover the pieces and let sit for 20 minutes. A word of caution, they are salty, no salt needed in my opinion. My only complaint is the price. I tracked the price between March and July 2020, the price for a…

It's not worth it. on freeze-dried food

I do not dispute the quality of the food; After all, it's for emergencies, so there's no way to view it until then. You must reach out to others to get this information. What I really like to review and try to be honest about Augason products is that the buckets look and feel very solid. However the most expensive product I bought was powdered milk and when it arrived there was powdered milk all over the bucket. Not good if it's not everywhere in their camp. Maybe yes - the real problem not…
