Good at first, but long life is not good

9/2020 - I bought them in February 2019 to try bulbs with night security lighting sensors. They worked pretty well, running from dusk to dawn every night (an average of 9 hours a day). But now. However, they are not as reliable as one would expect from LEDs. I've already had one unit die and that was outside of the 1 year warranty period. If an LED these days can't last as long as the incandescent bulbs I used before, then it's time to look for another brand. I have since ordered another brandโ€ฆ

Better price than comparable Revain lamps.

I bought these lamps after moving into a new house with lots of outside lighting (lampposts). Obviously the electrical work was done by hand and in many cases it is difficult to trace exactly where the underground cables run. Most of the lighting is hooked up to the same switchboard and mechanical timer, but there are a few lights that appear to be set up with no switches or timers, so they're always on. I've had standard LED bulbs installed for a few months but I was annoyed that the light was

Product did not work as long as expected

I live in a house that is almost 50 years old. As such, it suffers from the inconveniences of the electrical system that dictate purchasing decisions. I'd like to automate some functions in the house, but too many wires going into junction boxes, small junction boxes surrounded by tiles, etc. can be limiting. When I first bought them, I was amazed by the simplicity, convenience and functionality of these lamps. I have 2 carriage style lamps (like any house of this age) on either side of theโ€ฆ
