It's a caliper pad

The Touring L had duel caliber brake pads. I did a lot of research before ordering and still ordered the wrong part. Before ordering, measure your brake disc and check the brake pads for single or double calipers. Was it my fault I ordered the wrong one? The money was quickly refunded.

Pros
  • Handy thing
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Great Value 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan

2008 Dodge Grand Caravan. Came everything you need for the brakes and rotors on the front. Fits well. Easy work. I saved a lot of money doing it myself and this whole kit was cheaper than just the rotors at the local parts store. I'll update if I have to, but so far so good.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Some Difficulties

The brakes ONLY lasted 30 DAYS!

Attempt to upload photos of brakes after 30 days. I live in Atlanta, but that's no reason to wear brake pads on the discs within 30 days of purchase. Very disappointed! The return date has also passed. Definitely not a good buy. Are the rotors good? DEFINITELY NO BRAKE PADS!

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Not sure

Do your homework before you order

Fit and finish was great! Do your homework before ordering auto parts. In the automotive industry for 20 years. There are people in the parts department who can't order parts on a daily basis. When you order from Amazon, triple check your parts so you don't return heavy parts and have to wait longer.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Reliable

Parts were pre-opened

Gaskets were scattered in shipping box, one gasket was missing. When I opened the box with the brake pads, they weren't sealed, just thrown in the box. The pads looked like someone was trying to install them, they were greasy and scratched. I wasn't impressed with this order so everything was returned without removing the order from the shipping container.

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • boring pack

Braking system does not fit my van

These brake disc and pads appear to be an OEM order but they do not fit my van (2016 Chrysler Town and Country Limited). They seem to fit cars with single piston calipers but I have two pistons. I do not verify the quality of the parts or the seller. Just pointing out that they don't fit my particular van and no doubt others. If possible, check whether you have single-piston or double-piston calipers before you buy.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Negative impression

Doesn't fit my car for parts

There seem to be two types of Dodge Journey brake pads for my car. Either single caliper drive or dual caliper drive. The listing showed only one type in stock. My car used another type that is slightly larger. The car search listing is not entirely accurate for this 2013 Dodge Journey car. Two types of calipers were used. One guy used a single caliper while the other used a caliper.

Pros
  • Brake Kits
Cons
  • Fits

You get what you pay for - cheap price on cheap parts

These pads and rotors were delivered on June 6th and now on July 19th the pads are completely worn out and rubbing against the rotors. I drive about 1,000 miles a week, but it's mostly highway miles and there's no reason those pads should be gone now. I am replacing them with Wagner pads and rotors on Monday and very much hope to get a refund from the seller's customer service department.

Works great on our Grand Caravan!

Our caravan was starting to "feel weird" under braking so I decided to switch to this one from a front set of slotted and perforated discs and ceramic pads I had installed a few years ago change sentence. After installing and "breaking in" them, I found that the car's braking was MUCH better! So far, this brake kit has gotten us from Indianapolis to Branson, Missouri, and back across town with ease. At the moment braking is good, smooth and constant. I don't think I would try splined/perforated

Pros
  • Spares
Cons
  • I won't say anything
