    Broke on first use

    I used it a few days after receiving it and the clutch or gear broke when I pulled the strainer cord. It wasn't pulled too fast or too far, just a regular pull. Frustrated, I thought I had finally found what I wanted.

    Good product. So easy to use

    Great product. So easy to use, sieves in literally seconds. I have to admit I never bothered to sift before I got this. I tare the scale with an empty bottom, sift it, and then weigh it with the flour (or powdered sugar or whatever) sifted in it. Packs well for easy storage.

    It's so easy to use and clean, I couldn't wait to write a review!

    Due to arthritis I need a screen that is comfortable on my hands. The string did it! I ordered a battery operated colander but returned it after reading it wasn't washable. This one can be washed in the top rack of the dishwasher, although this time I just rinsed it. I am absolutely thrilled with this sieve and can only recommend it!

    Don't buy the best from Electrical Boxes, Conduits & Fittings

    I ordered this to replace another guy wire screen that broke after about a year - the guy wire would not retract . I had this for almost a month when I first needed to use it. Straight out of the box - traction didn't work. Not only that, it's all plastic. At least the first one had a metal screen. Baseball Cap Bakelicious 73856 Plastic. Luckily I still have a few days in the return window so I can send it back. This sieve is garbage.

    Works great with small batches

    The strainer holds a few cups but the cord doesn't retract when I fill it more than halfway. Works great when I split my ingredients into 2 or 3 batches for sifting. I had a battery operated strainer before and it was difficult to clean because some parts couldn't get wet. Not even 6 months have passed. It is easy to disassemble, clean and assemble.     Amazing new baking tool!

    My daughter bought this for me as a gift and thought I would love it. I had a canteen kitchen that baked and decorated sugar cookies. I always sifted all my dry ingredients as it makes a huge difference in the final product. This sieve is amazing! No more squeezing the handle of my old strainer causing carpal tunnel pain.     Excellent sifter. I put off writing the review because I wasn't sure how well it would hold up. But I've had this strainer for over a year now and it's amazing.     Swift SiftFast, easy and reliable! Just make sure you don't overfill or he'll get mad at you. When the cord stops pulling, all you have to do is remove the bottom mesh, clean the insides well and blow dry completely. Powdered sugar will still hold it together even in an inhumane climate.
