Works to toggle between stream from one to another. I think you could leave the wires on one end and use that as an on/off switch.

Installed it on my bike, it shifted when I wanted it and not when I didn't want it. Yes, and it's waterproof so it didn't wash away when I rode in the rain.

All I needed was a simple weatherproof ON/OFF switch. This switch is a 3 position switch but can also be used as a simple on/off switch, you just need to check which terminals you are using.

I use it to select between high and low beam on my golf cart. I have a separate on/off switch. The rubber gasket should help protect it from the weather, but I don't know how long this part will last. Ease of installation.

This switch is great! I used it on a small electronics project I was working on. It's very durable and the rubber cover on the switch feels nice. too if it's not supposed to be waterproof. I would like to point out that the mounting hole is not 1/2" as the description says. I think I ended up using something closer to 1/4".
