Waste of time and money

Most of the staple tapes I've used come off like masking tape, this one breaks like a plastic bread bag. The adhesion is a bit tacky but barely gets to the sewing machine before it rips and then won't reconnect. Instead, pins had to be used in place of a temporary hold. Waste of money so not worth it. Walmart has a 1/2" piece of tape that I cut in half and used. Walmart has great adhesion, peels and tears easily, and is only a dollar.

Worst stapling I have ever used

Worst stapling I have ever used. I don't know if this varies by company, but the role I got gave me more of a headache than anything else. It sticks to roll paper better than premium woven vinyl and Sunbrella bindings. I would have thought maybe it was the materials if I hadn't gotten that as a second role. I should have gone for the slightly more expensive 60 yard offering here at Revain because it's working great at the time. not at all.

No point sewing without it

I don't know why I've never used this before but I doubt I'll ever use it again. It's a nice long roll that makes creating your project so easy. I watched an explainer video about stapling tape before I bought it and they said it would be easier to remove the backing if you rip it off instead of cutting it. It was quite difficult to tear, which would have been my only complaint, but I ended up just cutting it off, which turned out to be a good thing. , I will receive more before I sew.

He sticks your needle!

I shouldn't have ignored other people's warnings about this binding tape sticking to the sewing machine needle! I'm trying to sew slipcovers out of a fabric that's too heavy to hand-tack, so this is my first time trying this ribbon. Realizing it wouldn't hold two pieces of textured fabric together, I tried to pry it from the fabric, but it wouldn't come loose once it was in place. So I tried sewing it anyway and found that all the people who said it stuck the needle were right! The thread keeps

Works better than I thought or expected

I was a bit worried it might either not hold my material (1000d Cordura) or stick my needle together. Both concerns were unfounded. It's a little tricky to remove the backing after it's attached to the material. I found that if I folded one end, the backing paper would rip off just enough to peel off instantly. This works for 1000d Cordura which is pretty stiff. I use this to fold the edges to make gear bag straps as the fabric is too stiff to be sewn "face to face" and then turned inside out…

Highly recommended! fits masking tape

I have used Sailrite Miracle Tape and Seamstick in the past. I like the seamstick but didn't want to pay for shipping just one item so I went with that option. I sew velvet pillowcases together with a linen pillowcase and this binding tape worked great. I've used it for sewing seams and sewing in zippers. Velvet is a tough fabric to put tape on, but I've had no problems. I don't (usually) glue where I sew, so I had no problem with the needle. The only complaint was the quality of the paper you…

Didn't work for my project

I only rated this 4 stars out of 5 because it didn't work for my project. I bought it to hold zipper tape when sewing upholstery fabrics. It's definitely 1/4" wide and I didn't realize the zipper tape I used wasn't 1/4" wide and the tape was exposed after the zipper was inserted. It held up well although the fabric I used was quite stiff. I think it would be great for the right project. It just wasn't for me. I was also disappointed with the lack of instructions in the packaging. I watched a…
