Instead of paying an exorbitant price for an OEM faucet aerator (from Moen) I stumbled across these and ordered them. What a good deal! Very easy to install (they were more thoughtfully designed with a "turnkey" notch), fit PERFECTLY and work flawlessly - and I got six of these for almost half the OEM price! Replaced what was plain and light. I don't know what the flow rate is, but it seems pretty high. The ones I had were marked 2.0 GPM, these appear to be significantly higher. That's not a problem for me as we don't let the water flow much. When I shave, I turn on the water briefly to rinse the razor and then turn it off again. Now I can really clean all the stubble between the blades with a faucet instead of playing with a razor forever.

I have used and replaced many aerators over the years and have never had this loud noise during use. They work and I have all the parts, but I've never had that kind of noise from an aerator.
