A little wobbly but that's to be expected

As the name suggests this adapter is a bit wobbly but not a bad product. I had a tool from Makita that I didn't want to buy $100 batteries for. So this adapter comes in handy if you already have Milwaukee batteries. I would recommend anyone in the same situation to do the same. Plus a USB port as a gift.

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Short manual

Basically great. (and other situations)

I bought this to use my extra Dewalt batteries in my Makita tools. They work great with a few caveats. They really increase the volume of the battery/tool. I've found that the added bulkiness can affect what tools I want to use with the adapter and in what situations. For example: Using an adapter on drill bits or oscillating tools adds a lot of awkwardness and loss of ergonomics. The use of larger tools (circular saws/saws) makes little difference.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Doubtful

It works as advertised!

My biggest problem with Makita batteries is that they don't have a capacity gauge to tell me if the battery in the tool is low. However, you have great tools. When I saw this Milwaukee tool adapter on Makita I bought this one. I connected the adapter to my Milwaukee 9AH 18v battery and then to my Makita 18v top handle chainsaw. I climbed a tree and spent the next three hours trimming branches with this awesome tool. Sits well and firmly, does not dangle.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Milwaukee-Makita battery adapter

I will never use it but got my money's worth. For another project I needed to know how this adapter got the Makita tool to work with a 2 wire input since the Makita tool needs to see 3 active wires. I built a 12-19v adapter and used an old dead battery. case to power the instrument - but it didn't work. Looking inside this adapter gave me the answer and I didn't have to risk damaging Makita cordless tools. I tested it with a friend's Milwaukee battery and it works great.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

I have several M18 power supplies and needed to use them with my Makita grinder. This worked great and saved me from having to buy a different battery profile or ecosystem. I have to warn you, when using these adapters it's best to identify the battery by the adapter if you're not going to be using it for a long period of time as parasitic drafts can occur, at least on the other one I have and the one I have not been able to restore a very used battery that I mistakenly left on for an extended…

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • Problems
