Great product with multiple installation options. 4 stars because the screens/filters are not very strong and sag a bit. The material used should be stiffer and smoother. Also, the screen/filter looks very thin and I wonder how much fat it traps.

Giving 4 stars because 1) There was no mounting template included in the instructions 2) The electrical connector clip on the button board was disconnected on arrival. I had to take it apart and bang for 5 minutes to connect it blindly. + It took me 10 minutes to figure out why it wasn't working when connected.

There was no template in the box as described in the product hanging instructions. The printed instructions weren't very good, but we searched the internet and found better ones. We pretty much installed it as channelless. Bought 2 activated carbon filters separately as they were not included. Looks great and runs great. Strong suction power, noise level is ok. Very satisfied.

We bought this (no air ducts) to control the smell of food in the kitchen and around the house. i cook a lot First let me say that it requires at least 2 people to install. It's not hard, but it's hard and you don't have to rush it. It looks great and with the carbon filters (sold separately) there was no more smell of food in the house and I really like the LED lights, they are very bright. Very happy with this purchase.

Looks good, easy to install, came as promised and not a lot of money. This hood would be a five star purchase if it weren't for two small things. First, the fan gets a bit noisy on the second setting and quite loud on the third. Second, removable metal mesh filter screens feel flimsy and short-lived. I've carefully examined the new range hood for our kitchen. We have a ductless hood, so we needed a ductless hood or a convertible hood like this. Product wise a great hood for the price. It was an incredibly nasty setup. I consider myself quite skilled and I've had a very difficult time. I spent about 5 hours with a wizard and we had to throw away the instructions that came with it and piece it together using various YouTube videos and our own intuition.
