Bright and very affordable. Grows my plants beautifully, this is my main light source for a 30 gallon aquarium. The legs can slip out of the device, so be careful not to drown it while cleaning!

Good light for my 5.5 gallons. Aquarium. Not the brightest, but I'm happy with the price. It doesn't mix the colors very well. You will see stronger reds, blues and greens. Haven't tried it yet but plan on trying a diffuser which should help with blending. It looks like modifying the light with a different diffuser would be pretty easy. Good product for the price.

I like that there are 2 settings, white light and blue light. I connected it to a smart plug as a timer because I have two timers on at the same time, it's cheaper than buying the timer separately, and it's easier to set up if I want to turn it on or off. Serves its purpose and seems decently made although the plastic in front of the LEDs isn't really fixed so it moves, but that doesn't bother me.

The connector on the lantern is very delicate and will turn off the light if you just walk past it. After a year of use, it begins to flicker at irregular intervals, which frightens the fish and causes stress. Stress can make sensitive fish ill very easily. The flickering even made my rooster fish jump out of the tank and the poor guy didn't. Not light enough for anything over 8-9 gallons, it was pretty dark on my 10 gallons. Got this on my rimless 5 gallon. I really like the shade of this lamp. Pure white, not too cold and not too warm. The body could have been stronger. The brackets that support the lantern do not have a locking mechanism. If you don't add a drop of superglue, they will gradually slip and come loose. I just installed this light and bought a 12" light for a 15" planting cube tank. This light is not as bright as my previous one, which is not a criticism as the previous light always seemed too strong to me.
