Cheap crap - engines and engine parts

I pushed the plug with my hand, checked the seal and noticed the o-ring was then sticking out. I removed the plug and saw that the o-ring was broken. I found a spare ring in my tool box, installed it and it seems fine now, but I used the cheap ring that came in the package hoping it would be oil resistant. I will order a replacement from another seller.

This will stop all those oil leaks!

I thought it was the valve cover. No, the old plug is leaking. The EGR does not have to be removed. Just clean the lid before you start. Use a small flat head screwdriver to pry out the original cover. Just clean up a bit. Then lubricate the new o-ring on the new cap and snap it into place. It's a little tight, but it will fit. This new cap stopped a massive oil leak!

    Fits just right.

My wife's Honda Civic leaks where the thing clogged the engine. I'm not sure why Honda added these plugs (not sure what they think of many of their design flaws), but they always start to fail after a few thousand miles. It was already starting to pop out of the side of the motor and fall apart when I took it off. After cleaning the hole as best I could, I put in a new one. It seems like it's doing its job. I have no idea why Honda put a hole there.

Easier to buy from Revain than anywhere else

I've looked for these at our local dealerships but none had them. Except maybe the dealer. For a lot of Dinero. I put it in a rebuilt cylinder head with some Hondabond on the o-ring and if it's like the others I've ordered it will seal perfectly. This type of oil leak is very common on some Honda engines as they age - just pull the old one out, clean the bore in the cylinder head, then apply some Hondabond to the O-ring and press in. (Be sure all four legs of the cover are in the cylinder head…

    Fits 2001 Honda CRV.

Exact replacement for my 2001 Honda CRV. I had a leak around this connector and was able to just pull it out of the car to show the tabs on the original were broken. When I wanted to steal, they sold me another one. It was hard rubber and you have to remove the valve cover and I think the collar to get it in. This is supposed to be a new style but I didn't want to take apart my engine so I looked here and found this. It popped up right away, but be very careful with the tabs. It's hard plastic…

Just use this one from its OEM

I haven't installed it on my crv yet but I've used it on many others it's EXACTLY THE SAME from the manufacturer. Don't bother paying $25 for an aftermarket one, sooner or later they all leak. $5 to my door, a flat head screwdriver and 5 minutes to carefully pry the old one out and stop throwing kitty litter in the driveway. Do this overnight and put some sealant on the o-ring and you'll be done in the morning. Also remember that if you see it bulge slightly over time (less than a dime wide) it

Fits, stops leaking valve covers on 2000 Honda Crv

Was a bit skeptical that I could just take this old leaking valve cover off on our 2000 Crv 2.2lL (instead of having to pull the cover valves, etc., as examined) took a small flathead screwdriver, carefully inserted it under the cap and carefully began prying it off, the cap came out fairly easily although I would advise being very careful as the 3 plastic tabs on mine were ready to fall off . Luckily, after I removed my entire lid, it was easy to put the new lid in place. In general, the cover

Perfect fit for 2003 Honda Civic EX 1.7L coupe

Perfect replacement. Also grab the EGR seal if you need to remove it. You don't need to reuse the seal to avoid leakage. The exchange takes about 30 minutes. Fixed leaks on my right hand engine leading me to think my rear main engine (recently repressurized by timing belt work) had valve cover gasket leaks. Also, take some silicone sealant and apply a thin coat to the o-ring. Clean everything very well. I also suggest raising the corner of the car's RF, as the head collects oil that spills out…

Unusable O-ring. Failed twice in less than six months.

First off, the need for this part is a joke by Honda. A piece of cheap plastic with a useless O-ring that fits into the HEAD? It feels like a last minute solution as opposed to the original design from a trusted manufacturer. Now about this POS product: I have bought it twice already. The first lasted a month until the O-ring was completely flat and no longer performing its only function: to seal the inspection hole in the cylinder head. I also left a bad review about him but he kind of…
