I got these to hang some lights on my patio but this pack of 20 hangers didn't hang at all. I just couldn't turn the screw and am pretty decent with my tools. Overall it was a bad experience, probably would require a more powerful nail gun to get the job done. This would be ideal for drywall or indoor use but just couldn't get it to work outside around the house stuff.

Hangars mounted on bottom faceplate. Installation is relatively easy by pre-drilling a hole and then hammering it in. Once installed, pendant lights are a simple matter. I used a screwdriver to widen the hole which allowed me to quickly install the wires and not pull on the wiring. Sometimes I used a zip tie to secure the wiring. Time will tell how the material will hold up to the elements over the years.

I like the design and currently there is no competition on the market. I'm aware that the manufacturer showed a picture of people hammering these things in. Then again, it's a screw! I think the screw makes sense as it will hold the pin to the rafters better as it hangs with the screw up most of the time. There is one problem though: there is no screw head in the shape of a hex or in the shape of a filip or both. If the manufacturer takes care of it, it's the perfect gadget for hanging…
