Great for porting: burr cutting

Well done! Did the job in half the time and is used in many more projects. Used them to port an aluminum cylinder head and couldn't be happier.

Pros
  • All right!
Cons
  • Good but not great

Do not buy this junk

These bits are absolute junk, as soon as I turned on my grinder the bits immediately bent and made the grinder uncontrollable. I almost hurt my hand because they bent so much, be careful.

Pros
  • Excellent price
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Not for high speed use

Mine turned into wet noodles, as soon as I turned on the porting tool it got out of control. One exploded, everything had to be trimmed down to about 3-4 inches to be usable, I really had to get to the places they needed to go.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Not bad

Bullshit, the shaft bent when I turned on the mill. Do not buy!

Total crap, bent as soon as I turned on my grinder. I didn't even have time to cut anything. Don't buy them! I will measure their hardness, I am guessing they are annealed and not really carbide.

Pros
  • Easy install
Cons
  • Upgrade available

Willingly "ate metal "!

Used these rotary cutters along with some drill bits to remove a lock from an old fireproof filing cabinet. These ridges worked like a champ! At the end of the project the lock became a little box of brass shavings and most of the work was done by these burrs. The overall length of these drill bits is approximately 6 inches, making them the perfect tool for "turning" the lock after I've drilled through the drums. I would buy them again in a heartbeat, but looks like I'll be able to use them for

Pros
  • Lasting test results
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model
