A perfect fit.: Replacement Parts

They are the same as OEM for Xterra but cheaper here. You will need new bolts, nuts and two washers, order these from your local dealer. Installation Note: You must burn the factory installed hardware to release Locktite.

Amazing shocks, they replaced the same shocks I have.

Great shock absorbers, they replaced the same shock absorbers I had on my '06 Xterra SUV. Bilstein shocks are highly recommended, they ride well and perform excellently off-road. Took them on a bumpy road a few days ago, they worked great.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick

Fits my 2006 Xterra with no problems. I had to .

Fits my 2006 Xterra with no problems. I had to heat the bottom bolt with MAP gas, but beyond that 30 minutes per side with regular metric hand tools. I think the bottom screw was 19mm and the top 14mm. Be sure to apply sealant to the bolts, since shock absorbers should be changed every 80,000 km.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Not reliable

Perfect replacement for my 2008 Xterra

The perfect replacement for my 2008 Xterra, my others were worn out and "bouncy" and now feel very secure. Easy to assemble, didn't even take the wheels off. As always, the hardest part is removing the old ones. Please note that they do not come with new nuts and bolts so you can get them in advance. Might have to do fronts too!

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • The list goes on.

Back to a smooth ride!

Product arrived on time - Installed on a 2006 Nissan Xterra. My previous dampers made a squeaky noise and the ride was harsh through speed bumps or potholes - not to mention I do quite a bit of off-road driving, after 115,000 miles it was time for a change. I chose them because of the good reviews and good reputation of the company. So far so good, the ride has become much more comfortable and it no longer squeaks!

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • old

2006 Nissan Xterra S. I added a leaf (Supreme Suspension) and decided to upgrade the shock absorbers. Really impressed by this shock. I put KO2 BFG (33β€³) tires on and with the uprated suspension it still handles very well. Not super stretchy at all. It's the same shock they put in the off-road version, just not in the "fine-tuned" Nissan.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Some cons

Great dampeners and worth the price!

I first got them on a 2006 Nissan Xterra Offroad. I needed new ones because mine were leaking. Installation was very easy. I had trouble loosening the nuts and bolts but used a PB blaster and pry bar to loosen them. It took a bit of pressure to get the shocks into position, but other than that it was an easy install. I could tell a difference in my suspension as soon as I rode it. I would definitely buy them again.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Plug and play rear shock absorbers.

2011 Xterra Pro4x. So far, so good. I replaced my old Bilsteins that were leaking with these. I would say they lasted about 50,000 miles before I needed a replacement. Installation was easy enough with the right tools. I did it alone but 2 people would definitely make it easier. Here's how I did it: I did NOT jack up the car (would be easier, but not essential). I dropped the spare tire. The top bracket has a nut on each (17mm DEEP socket) and then a freely rotating nut and bolt on the bottom…

Pros
  • Great Price
Cons
  • Vanish
