They're blue and yellow

Nylon lock washers make top nut installation difficult, but this is a Toyota, not a Bilstein. So allow an extra 30 minutes during the installation. They work great and save me from damaging my melon on the way to market.

Pros
  • They're fun
Cons
  • Really don't like it, everything's fine

Smooth as butter! - Shocks, struts and suspension

Fits my Toyota Tundra 01'. Replaced burnt out rear shock absorbers. Good compaction and restored mileage to my old work truck. My first experience with Bilstein shocks and I'll be the first to tell you the hype is warranted.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Not the best

It is great. Huge improvement over the blown KYBs

They are great. Huge improvement over blasted KYBs. The installation is a bit tedious with the 06 Tundra double cab. There is only a small gap between the top of the shock absorber and the truck body. However, I was able to install it in under an hour. I highly recommend some grease to lubricate the bushings and ratchet wrenches to speed up installation.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Not bad

Don't waste time shopping elsewhere, just buy them!

I installed these Bilstein rear shocks on my 2003 Toyota Tundra SR-5 with Auxiliary Cab. He immediately stopped jumping around with an empty bed and restored it to factory specs. I am very impressed with my 15 year old truck's 235,000 mile performance. I looked everywhere and they ranged from $88.50 to $124.50 each. No brains. Thanks again Revan!

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Replacing only 2 is human, but all 4 are divine!

Much easier to install compared to the front ones which Bilstein also bought here at Revain for a good price. I never recognized or appreciated the new A-pillars along with the new lower ball joints, inner and outer Moog Problem Solver series tie rods, soon to be replaced with anti-roll bar links and anti-roll bar bushings until this pair is installed in the rear. I can now tell the difference between day and night when viewed differently when I was looking through the front couple as well, but

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Security

OK, not great. Small disappointments not expected from a well known brand.

They were no more difficult to install than any rear shock on a 2006 Tundra Double Cab 4.7L V8 4x4. But that still means it was a pain (not Bilstein's fault, but Toyota's). But the trip is not very happy. It feels a little soft and lets the springs spring a little over bumps, even compared to the stock Toyota shocks at 150,000 miles. Although "heavy duty" I suspect they don't mean "hard". But it's decent enough. The case is plastic, not metal, which is another minor disappointment. There are…

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

VERY impressive shocks! Here are some tips you might want to know!

Great product with fast delivery. Light years better than my previous Monroe dampers. After I took them off, one of them was completely crushed and had a blown valve. See attached picture. Here is the reason for my review, which I only write if I really like the product and/or if I think buyers need to know some information that is not included in the description. First ordered were my Bilstein HD 4600 series rears for my 2005 Tundra 4-door SR5 2WD to replace my old Monroe-worn rear that was…

Pros
  • 1 year trial
Cons
  • Available in white only
