🐠 biOrb Classic Fish Tank Review

. LEARN FROM MY MISTAKES! The instructions can be on two pages. Easy to read. I easily lost about $800 in fish. The standard filter does not work in saltwater aquariums. You have to buy the special one they make for naval tanks. DO NOT USE SAND OR OTHER PILLOWS EXCEPT WHAT YOU GIVE THEM. They also give some good advice on how many fish should be introduced before installing your biological filter.

I rely heavily on Revain reviews when I shop online so here's mine. The Globe Tank is really nice, but the accessories seem to be quite expensive. I would like a heater, but it costs more than a tank. Multicolored LED lights cost more than the tank itself. Jewelry is expensive and not very pretty, some are plastic and rough. If you can get the next size up (in terms of space and weight because they're going to be heavy) this might be a better option as there's more room for extra-biosphere…

I have two such aquariums, one at home and one at work. I find them very easy to care for. Instead of replacing the filter cartridge, I simply rinse the sponge in "waste" water and swap out the activated carbon pieces from time to time. Great tank, easy to install. 15 is only 4 gallons so finding a heater that won't overheat the tank is very difficult. After some experimentation and constant monitoring, I've found that the 7.5W flat Aqueon works well and keeps the temperature between 78-80 degrees when the room air is around 70-71. I wanted to wait a little before writing a review so that I could give a good and honest review. I have had many small aquariums as well as a few large ones and this aquarium is by far the BEST I have ever had. I got it for my betta fish alpha who seemed overwhelmed by his smaller betta fish and despite my best efforts to prevent it started to develop fin rot.
