I thought it would be fun to follow the Cinnamon Roll Waffles recipe provided; the recipe is in the box. Yes, it was a mistake. There is so much grease on the waffle maker that it seems impossible to clean. I just bought this car and will most likely throw it away. Thank you Black & Decker. Do not buy this product - waste your money and buy something with removable panels.

I find it impossible to replicate the delicious waffles I got from my 8 year old (and now dead Hamilton) waffle maker. I decided to try the rotation feature. A typical homemade recipe comes out burnt (but still editable, hence two stars). If the waffle is burnt, the waffles will stick following their instructions. I think the secret is the lack of temperature control (which the old Hamilton had), so I'll try another with that feature.

Waffle maker is decent, waffles are good although not as thick as some other waffle makers. My biggest gripe with this thing is that when you open the lid it doesn't take long for it to lose its balance and then everything flips to the right, making waffles and waffles a lot less fun. Iron is very hot. Overall I think this is a huge design flaw and I've had better flip waffle makers in the past.
