Must have if you only have one sink. It doesn't scratch, is easy to clean thoroughly, but stays clean enough with regular use and occasional rinsing.

After a little over a year, the black rubber feet have scratched/discolored my stainless steel sink. And since there's a slight play in his position, there's a square with black lines around each foot. Looking for replacement white or gray legs and a way to fix tarnished square stains.

Even though it was expensive, protecting my stainless steel sink was worth it. It was great to choose one specifically for my sink. It fits snugly and requires little maneuvering to get in and out for cleaning. I was very happy with the quality and it fits all of my pots regardless of weight or size.
