Well done. good case. No problems at higher speeds.

Holds both boards well at 60-65 mph. It was a bit windy over the Robert Moses Bridge and I got nervous, just slowed down to 45-50 on the bridge. In general, he did his job. Easy installation, easy disassembly. on the road again tomorrow. After today's storm it should be pretty nice there.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Frequency

It works out !? for external accessories

Works great. I was initially skeptical due to the many reports of missing boards or buzzing. You just have to tighten it properly and get creative. I live here in the Bay Area and I was driving down Highway 1 and I was going 55-65 mph and no cracks or dents or anything. Thanks, download, folks, and peace be with you!

Pros
  • Constant test results
Cons
  • Negative result available

Pretty good, wobbles a lot but still durable

I ride with a 10ft board and an 18ft foam board strapped to my little Honda Civic all the time. Because the roof of my car is hollow, when I'm driving on the freeway and it's windy, the sides wiggle up and down a bit, but nothing comes out. So far it's been a great product and I've had no problems with it. * In the photo, my car usually looks like this.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • old

Not worth the extra money

We have base picks and bought them for our other car mainly for the rubber coated latches. This is a completely different design and they are not as secure as the basic ones. For example, I can't do 60 mph with these racks or the boards bounce a lot. In contrast, I can hit 80 mph with the base frames. Not sure if the design or the different webbing they used seems to matter a lot, but save your money and buy a cheaper set, they work great.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Did the trick! good for handling loads

Worked as expected. Easy to install on my Honda CRV. I watched a short video explaining how to set it up as recommended by other reviews. It's really not difficult at all. You MUST twist the bottom straps or you will hear a lot of vibration noise. Twisting the strap did the trick. Ran it 90 miles and then turned the board on and off half a dozen times, no problem. From a speed of 65 the board starts to vibrate, which is embarrassing but has nothing to do with the straps. I just left it at 65…

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • No performance

Good price, strong straps. Not good for the track.

Used for the first time today I have a small Kia Forte so maybe that's why I had the problems I had. The quality of the buckles and straps is superb and the foam blocks definitely had enough room for the radio fin in my car. But I didn't feel comfortable driving over 80 km/h with this rack. The buzz started at 55 and the board started catching the wind and lifting a bit. I stopped and checked the straps, they were still tight but just didn't feel right. No big deal, instead I walked the streets

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Has flaws

loud and not for big boards or freeway speeds.

So I bought this roof rack mainly to carry a Bic293d windsurfer with me. It's a long 10ft board, but fairly light for its size, so I decided to tie it to the roof of a car (bare roof) and go. The straps placed as advertised was fine although it's a little harder to tie and tighten the straps in the car as they are a bit loose no matter how hard I pulled but I did, put a board on top of how specified, twist top strap once and tighten over board. So everything seemed safe. Then I started moving…

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • Almost everything is ok

With a few tweaks, they work GREAT!

*** I'm editing my review because I tried to use the rack several times. Here's my new review: These racks require trial and error, but once you get them, they're great. If you read and see my old review, the rack loosens, makes a CRAZY noise and I had to quit pulling up. Because the board weakens and starts to bounce. If any of the above cases happen to you, consider the following tips: Before attaching to the car, you need to twist the straps. I recommend rotating 5-6 times. Once I did that…

Pros
  • nice thing
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something
