Put it on right before your trip. I've noticed that they rattle a little, but I didn't expect any problems. I have to say I'm not particularly 'green' but I hate that 'big cars' have implemented a profit model where You have to throw away a whole lot of wiper arm instead of simply replacing a worn brush. What a waste! Yes, I've tried some aftermarket brushes, but wipers are designed to break and not pick up a new brush. After getting fed up with the stock wipers squeaking with every stroke I decided to do some research and upgrade to a better brand. After a while, after reading online reviews and talking to friends who are as obsessed with their cars as I am, I settled on Bosch wipers as apparently a lot more people were complaining about the Rain-X brand because of them. Buying them from Revain is an absolute steal as they cost 1/3 the price here, just like in a physical store or any other major online store.
