When I received the product I tested it to make sure the buttons worked properly. After being left unattended for a few minutes, the pump spontaneously began pumping out water. I made a few more tries but it kept pumping water when I didn't press the button, leaving a mess. I would not recommend this product as I consider it a safety hazard.

I would definitely pay more if it cost more. I bought this for my mom for work because the office is small and no dispenser fits and the print is AMAZING. I mean I couldn't believe how easy it was to use and install. She loves it too. She doesn't have to fetch water, and I mean, if you've checked, let me tell you. Don't waste time. When it arrived it smelled very strongly of plastic. I continued cleaning the pipe but the smell lingered. I wanted to boil the tube but there was a small plastic nozzle at the end so I didn't want to risk it. This is exactly what you need for a 'man cave' with no room for a bulky water cooler/dispenser. Put it on top of a water bottle and it works instantly - just a squirt or pitcher and it has a very good flow volume. I was worried about not finding the right bottle neck size, but don't worry - even if it's loose it still works (the first bottle I had had a smaller neck). I work jobs where we order 5 gallon water jugs and used to rent or buy dispensers which were always difficult to order, clean and repair. I've seen this and it's just as good (if you're just fine with cold water/room temperature). Battery life is typically 2 jugs for me, but I try to charge each switch overnight. This was a great purchase, I used to have a hand pump which you have to be careful with as the last pump before your jar or container is full will keep pouring , after you have stopped pumping, which is caused by increased pressure. But it has 4 settings: 1. 300ml preset, 500ml preset and 1 liter preset, which will turn off by itself after finish.
