August Update: This little gadget still works. Took him twice (with a 5 gallon water bottle) with us on camping trips. No problems maintaining a charge. We're just trying to remember to do this every two bottles or so. This is evident when the time is right as the flow (and tone) is much slower. In our attempt to minimize our use of plastic (our city no longer recycles plastic over 2), we've opted for larger bottles. The water in the city is rather unpleasant. Brita replacement cartridges are obsolete. And the water in the fridge is cold. We didn't want to bother with renting or buying a cooler as we prefer room temperature water. So far we've used two 5-gallon bottles and haven't had to reload. It's a bit noisy but to be expected. The flow rate is better than expected! Not sure about durability as we've only had them for a few weeks. We place it just above the bottle caps (Primo, Ozarka) after peeling off the paper label and opening/punching a smaller hole in the cap. It's definitely strong when you get there.
