Don't waste your money

This is my first negative review of a product I have purchased from Revain. This item is extremely low quality due to the extremely low quality of the metal. I know enough not to use too much force when tightening by hand. I didn't, but the thin metal almost completely shattered and cut my finger! I paid €14.92 for it. I bought a much, much better faucet atomizer head for $11.18 from another source and am very satisfied. Revain shouldn't even be selling this product!

Pros
  • New California law prohibits sale of product in this condition
Cons
  • Damaged

Fits perfectly with my standard Moen 8277 tap. Suitable for drinking water.

I purchased a commercial Moen 8277 sink faucet for my basement laundry room. There is no aerator included so I bought this Brasscraft aerator. The aerator fits perfectly with the tap and can be easily screwed in and out if necessary. Note: There is another cheaper Brasscraft aerator here at Revain.com that does not have an "X" at the end of the model number. The "X" means the aerator meets the requirements for use with drinking water and was worth a few bucks in my opinion.

Works well in kitchen appliances

I used this aerator to connect to a US standard faucet with a hose thread on the end of the spout (for a garage sink). It easily screws on and off so I can use the faucet to quickly fill buckets or wash my hands (whatever I'm doing). The water consumption with an aerator is significantly higher than with a conventional faucet with a built-in aerator. However, I prefer this aerator for my garage as I need a large volume of water for most applications. I can even fill a bucket with water pretty…

Relatively high flow aerator at 2.2 GPM; Low Lead Version

I spent a lot of time deciding between this aerator and a high flow Kohler aerator that required an adapter (this one is included to install on my Universal faucet, which splatters on the walls and my pants without it.) After some searching, I found an online catalog from Brasscraft that lists the 2.2 gpm capacity of this aerator - same as Kohler - and it also says " "high flow" for most faucets. Most Eco Sense/Water Saver faucets use aerators or flow restrictors that limit their flow to…
