These pedestals can support a 500 lb piano. The mounting bolts are spaced far enough apart to withstand the torque generated by roller misalignment.

Actual barrel OD is NOT 9/16" and may vary. .5620" and 19/32" is .59375", so even a 19/32" bit is too small for some of them, and with a 5/8" (0, 6250") bit you need to use epoxy to secure the nest well. Aggravating.

However product and seller have 5 stars, it is a great product and need not be rust free unless used in a NSF atmosphere or other wet areas. BUY IT, YOU ARE GREAT! 5/8" Forstner bit used, just inserted, screwed in, better than NOTHING on the market.

Sturdy design. The wheels fit snugly in the nests. I used heavy-duty 650-pound casters with quiet neoprene wheels, which were offered as a replacement for the typical hard plastic casters found on office chairs. It's nice to find a quality product these days. I used them for a revolving bookshelf that I built to be strong enough to support the weight of the wood structure and all of the books. Very happy.

These adapters worked very well with my new Finnhomy office chair Caster 3 inch wheels A set of 5 hardwood floor replacement casters which I also ordered from Amazon. I replaced the worn out wheels on a nice heavy antique work chair. These two products work great together. They are durable and roll very well on my hardwood floor without scratching. The chair itself is very heavy and I weigh 320 and roll easily. I am VERY satisfied and at a fair price.

These strong, wide-rimmed cylindrical heads are ideal for mounting casters with a handle on almost anything.
