Only suitable for single page jobs.

Suitable for regularly printing a page from a computer or for copying a single page. I've had him for about a year. I recently tried to copy (duplex) a batch of documents from the document feeder. It failed miserably; Misfeed, copying part of a page onto 2 or 3 sheets, paper jam, wrong paper jam indication; 2-sided printing from the paper tray isn't much better. So I had to copy one sheet at a time. But after each copy of a single page, it goes through all sorts of cycles, such as: B. reset or…

DO NOT USE THIS PRINTER MODEL, IT IS A LOSS OF YOUR MONEY AT ANY COST!

Terrible printer, lots of problems in the first week and after. I realized that this is not a top model, but crap. Got my 5 year old Hp 309A out and it's working fine again. And for high power work I have a wonderful Canon laser. But this brother is terrible. There are many blank pages between the printed pages; After cleaning the print head (with Brother ink) the printouts are of poor quality, the print is often faded. It splits the print into two sides which is rubbish when everything should…

Outstanding performance in a compact package. Would recommend.

I love the AirPrint feature and how easy it is to set it up securely with the push of a button on my Wi-Fi router. Prints very quickly and the software that came with the machine is nice and not as aggressive as the overwhelming HP software that requires items at startup, at registry startup and at services! I love the duplex feature. This is quite a stylish multifunctional printer, scanner, fax machine. The ink is cheaper than HP and there is no shortage of competing ink manufacturers that are

Common problems with this printer; I do not recommend it

The sum of features, ease of use and small footprint of a multifunction device does not match the cost of this particular device. Print quality is minimal sufficient; quite acceptable for the price of the device and ink. Some documents may need to be reprinted due to ink stains. This is what I would expect from a budget printer and on that basis I can recommend Brother's non-duplex single function printers. However, I cannot recommend this duplex multifunction printer. This printer/scanner can…

Received the printer on time and unpacked, everything was going fine until I went to network setup. The printer showed that it was connected to my network, but when I tried to search for it via the add printer dialog, nothing showed up, none of my printers showed up in response to the search! I couldn't see the Brother printer from any device in the house. Eventually I gave up on the wireless setup and just hard-wired the printer to my desktop. I've been trying for 2 days to get the wifi…

Overpriced -- but A Keeper

I ordered this Brother AIO after researching and reading all the good reviews. Well, I'm not that excited. Basics: it arrived quickly; was in a "brand new" box, so it was a new printer, not repackaged; had all the necessary, expected items. Setup wasn't that quick or easy for me, but I ended up getting there in about 40-45 minutes. While I'm not a geek, I consider myself reasonably savvy and tech-savvy. The size is decent. Not big, but not compact either. Takes up little space "on" a standard…

Poor printer performance!

I bought this printer about a year and a half ago and have printed very little since then. It came with packs of test inks, not full-size packs as usual. I recently tried to print a document for my mother and noticed poor print quality, so I assumed more ink was needed. I need to finish a job so I recently bought Revain black and color prep inks (Brother products as recommended) and tried to print. To my surprise, all pages were blank. I double checked the position of my ink cartridges and…

I bought this to replace my Canon PIXMA MX882 which I had a love hate relationship with for about five years and recently broke it off. I use a multifunctional inkjet device in my home office for light applications. I rarely use the copy and print functions and scan documents and photos for filing more often. I use Quicken to manage my checking accounts and regularly use the print feature to print Quicken checks and envelopes when paying bills. Canon features a rear paper tray that allows you…
