I definitely recommend buying, I didn't notice any disadvantages.

I spent 3 busy days with the lens. For me, this is enough to at least somehow catch on and praise the technique. Here are the details: http://vesnins. Ru/test-i-otzyv-ob-obektive-canon-ef-135mm-f-2l-usm-ot-professionalnogo-reportazhnika I honestly tried to understand what people see in it, but failed. I gave the lens a subjective assessment: on the one hand, it does not suit me. On the other hand, this is a high-end Canon with strong optical properties and thousands of photographers cannot just

Pros
  • Just that it's lightweight.
Cons
  • Almost nothing I read in the reviews was found in this lens. Probably, if I had not pumped myself up for several years on forums with rave reviews, I would not have written such a verdict.

A nice option for the money, one of the best deals.

wonderful lens, just fabulous! on this focal length, even the built-in flash does not kill, but gently illuminates, the background blurs perfectly, the image with this lens comes to life, acquires a certain volume . sq. m.) no problem, even in a room of 16 sq. M. it’s easy to take a half-length portrait, I see this as a plus from the other side that it’s easier to go unnoticed, and therefore take an unexpected shot (this is especially true when shooting children, pets), and the flash is not so…

Pros
  • Color rendition, bokeh, the quality of the mechanism itself, aperture ratio, weight (for a telephoto), but it’s all - solid dignity! The kit includes a lens hood (such a significant one, even a protective filter is not needed, IMHO) and a case.
Cons
  • no stabilizer. the hand periodically wants to zoom, but this is not a claim to the lens .

The quality is at the highest level, be sure to try it.

I just took it in my hands and realized that I was really holding a THING. I really liked the hood - solid and "suede" inside to keep dust particles. I was pleased with the same coverage after the rear lens. The focus is instant and does not fidget like some. PICTURE MAGIC! on the crop it may seem far away, but for me this is only a plus. The front and back backgrounds are very contrasting. P. S. The letter L on it and the red stripe are not show-offs, as I thought at first. This is a great…

Pros
  • Damn sharp at f2, magically blurs the background, very well made and not heavy, high contrast.
Cons
  • difficult to put on the cap with the hood on and impossible to put on the hood with the cap on. but these are trifles.

The right product for me, there were no problems.

I don't regret this purchase for a single day. If you want to get an expensive, beautiful picture, then immediately take a lens. It’s also good if you have ff, it seems to me that you just don’t run into a crop with it . You will have to move far from the model, even if you just want to shoot a waist-length portrait. It is worth the money because the result is stunning and with every shot you will love it even more. I use it in tandem with 85 1.8 and I am very satisfied.

Pros
  • - sharp - for lovers of very blurry bokeh - he will give it to you in full size - on ff it reveals simply cosmically - fast focus. very fast! - the red ring drives everyone crazy - good solid lens hood that comes with the kit - handy pouch included
Cons
  • - You'll have to run as 135 is a bit far. But the result is worth it - Heavy (at least for me). But lighter than 85 1.2

I expected mediocre quality, but the product was pleasantly surprised.

overall a very good portrait. flu in the open is more than expected (you need to gain experience, you can’t compare with 1.2). color and light transmits well, naturally. I'm sure there will be a stub in the next modification. the cost of the last 3-4 months is constantly increasing. it is a pity that canon does not complete lenses with normal cases with fastenings to a belt or belt, all pouches, -type pouches with rope ties. that bought satisfied.

Pros
  • quite sharp already at the open. not very heavy. fast autofocus. luminosity 2 . relatively inexpensive. did not notice any chromatic effects.
Cons
  • no dust-moisture protection (despite the fact that the L class). does not work well (mistakes) on side points (on 5D mark 2). on the central good. bokeh does not wash as much as expected, you need to adapt and understand (we will gain experience over time). really there is not enough stabilizer, for 135 mm Pts are needed.

Exceeded my expectations

This lens is a real gem. I, like many others, had read the reviews and wasn't convinced that the claims of sharpness and overall awesomeness were just statements by Canon fans touting their gear. After buying this lens and seeing what it can do, I now understand why the reviews for it are so overwhelmingly positive. The color this lens gives is beautiful. On F2 it's a nice bokeh when I need it. Along with my 5Diii, the auto focus is very fast and accurate. Not too big and heavy, at least for…

AHHH awesome lens!

I am a wedding photographer and needed a long focal length lens with an aperture for low light. I've spent weeks comparing this lens to Canon's 70-200mm f2.8 IS lens. I know they are different lenses with different capabilities but given the budget I could only add one to my arsenal. As a petite woman, weight is a HUGE factor in what I wear to a wedding. At the end of a 12 hour day my wrists get shot. I know the 70-200 f2.8 is touted as a must-have for photographers, but after renting it, it…

The red ring of portrait photography!

I wanted to wait a bit before testing the Canon EF 135mm F/2. Today is the day. After using it for a long time, I would like to share my humble opinion about this lens. The EF 135mm is the gold standard for Canon short-range telephoto lenses! maximum f/2 aperture, incredible bokeh at f/2 (especially with backlighting in low light), fast autofocus (AF), very quiet USM motor and excellent build quality, and looks better (in my opinion) without a lens hood. ). This is the highest quality…

  • Camera and photo
Cons
  • Excessive price
