A few things keep these straps from getting 5 stars. I found that the buckle didn't hold the non-ribbed portion of the belt in place as well as more traditional military style buckles do, and these traditional military style buckles are also easier to use to secure the belt in the buckle. That's a real shame. The straps are very pretty, but the laces at the end of the fabric are wider than the fabric itself. This allows the lace to act as a hook that hooks into each loop of the strap when the strap is removed. I thought it was a defect on my first order so I used the refunded money to try another set and it was exactly the same. Return this kit for refund because of poor quality.
