Available? Best Car Wash

I used six of these to polish my truck the other day. Really nice blanket with hard sponge and high quality terry cloth material. I threw it in the washing machine and three of the six came apart at the seams. Three sponges came out completely. Didn't know they were disposable.

  • Hands Free Work

"Total scrap " - car care

"Total scrap" test report Unfortunately true, after a few minutes of use (not in the washing machine, just applied with liquid wax) it's on completely fell apart at the seams. Perhaps the chemists could have made them somewhere other than a sweatshop in China run by six-year-olds? I would happily pay the price to have a quality tool.

  • Stable test results
Cons
  • Disappearance

Doesn't look like anyone else does it better

Everything is fine. Sewn cheaply, loose seams all around, no wonder they come undone in the washing machine! Though it doesn't look like anyone did it better. The material is good, nothing special. My cheap mom's round yellow applicators are slightly better quality and much more durable, but I prefer the CG shape much more as it feels more comfortable on my hands. I will continue to use them, just be careful when washing.

Cheap just a regular gasket

So I bought these gaskets based on some reviews and a look at the Chemical Guys website and saw they got decent reviews but all of those reviews are now questionable. I will be brief though as I have attached a photo of the microfiber pad after 2 uses where you can see that it is torn. The pad is serviceable, but it's not durable and cheap. If you want a better quality microfiber, go for the flat type typically used for waxing. They work exactly the same and can withstand use. However, this is…

Poor build quality

At first glance they looked great but the quality isn't very good. I have several Chemical Guys products. Her stuff is usually of excellent quality, so I took her. Turns out they were torn after one wash. Even if you follow the washing instructions on the label. I wasn't rough with them. I only used them to apply The Last Coat to my car. Just a gentle swipe of the hashtag, like most coverage. Oh and I tried to contact them via the online form before reaching out to Revain but got no response. I

OTHER OTHER OTHER! Chemical Guys go bye bye

As others have said, this is complete bullshit! I used a pad to apply Opti-Seal and it ripped on the side! I used another swab to apply Colinite #845 and it broke too. I washed 4 on a very very gentle hand wash cycle and 1 of them broke! Walmart and Viking pads are better! Chemical types are phasing out in my opinion, they are NOT synonymous with quality anymore. I have their 50/50 wax and this is the best product they sell. Their Jet Seal is a joke, M-Seal is a joke and their towels are…

These applicators are the best I've ever used!

I take great care to keep my 2001 Ford Ranger well maintained and clean. The problem I had the whole time was that most of the microfiber towels I used scratched, didn't vacuum, or just didn't work properly. I can say that my problems have been solved with these wonderful microfiber applicators. Also, I've started to learn more about the company behind these pads, Chemical Guys, by checking out their Youtube channel and I love their videos that show you how to get the best results on any…

Premium Microfiber Barely

I ordered a Chemical Guys Premium Microfiber Applicator Set based on Revain reviews. Some people seemed to think they were great, others that they were junk. The truth lies somewhere in the middle. First, the microfiber covers feel a bit cheap, although they are adequately finished (stitching, etc.). I was suspicious of the durability and in fact the microfiber has worn down well after a cleaning of the car's leather interior with a mild water-based commercial product. These sponges probably…

best liquid wax applicator

The best liquid wax applicator. This product is a block of soft foam wrapped with microfiber. By using this applicator instead of the round foam that comes with most wax products, you will reduce the chance of scratching your paint. In my opinion this applicator is best used with liquid wax such as Butter Wet Wax. In fact, it has only one downside. The applicator does not wash well. The foam inside absorbs the product. This is what you must do. Assign an applicator to each wax. So if you used…
