Just works with no surprises and solves every problem I have

The WRT320N replaces my Linksys SRX400 which is having intermittent wireless problems. First of all I'm not sure if it's a problem with the router or if some PC wifi card has gone bad. The wireless network error count keeps increasing over time, so I suspect the hardware will break down in less than 4 years. Being more familiar with the Linksys interface, the WRT320N seems like a good choice. The router comes with version 1.0.3 so I don't need to update the firmware. I would suggest using the…

Wired router = great. Wireless = unstable

So I'm now on my second WRT-320n. Revain is great for quick exchanges. First, it works well as a wired router. This gives me a full 50/10 Mbps internet connection. Problems arise when trying to do heavy work over the wireless connection. I have 2 laptops and an iphone on 802.11g. I have a desktop computer connected to gigabit ethernet. I have an XBOX 360 connected to Ethernet at 100Mbps. When I try to copy a lot of data from the network on one of the laptops, the WiFi eventually drops. All…

Great Value 802.11n Router

I bought this to split bandwidth between two laptops, a wireless printer, and a Roku (Netflix video streaming box that plugs into a TV) because I figured 802.11g wireless wasn't in would be able to handle all these requests. once. Also, the wired connections on this router are Gigabit Ethernet connections, so wired connections are just as fast as wireless ones. Remember I'm a computer scientist. This made the installation pretty easy for me. The router has a web interface with different tabs…

Finally! Router N delivering.

I live in the base building so it's like an apartment. I tried 3 other N routers before buying this one - they all told me Linksys was the way to go, but I found them overpriced and overpriced. Well you get what you pay for. I can connect anywhere in my house, on my porch, even halfway to my voice mail (on my iPod touch). All other routers I tried couldn't get a full signal even at 2 meters from the router! With this Linksys router I have about 2/3 signal upstairs and full signal everywhere…

Excellent range good for routers

Replaced 2 Linksys WRT54G with this WRT320N. The only thing that struck me right away was the long range compared to the old WRT54Gs I was replacing. In fact, the range is so good that I no longer have to set up 2 WiFi routers in my house. Just one WRT320N covers my entire house and it does the job perfectly. I used to have a 50% signal, now I have a 100% signal. Internet bandwidth is no different than my older devices, which is good news ([.]). I can't say anything about the reliability yet…

Completely satisfied! Great router with great networking software!

This router turned out to be a great upgrade from my previous WRT54G. However, I can't take full advantage of the increased speed since all of my current wireless devices are Wireless-G devices. However, I am now prepared for the future when I decide to upgrade my laptops with Wireless-N cards or buy new Wireless-N devices. I've definitely noticed an increase in speed when using gigabit ethernet connections. My NAS is connected to a router and there is a noticeable difference in file transfer…

Unreliable networking products

I bought this product for a regular internet router, no extreme usage or anything other than connection. Initially, the product worked practically out of the box. It only took me about 5 minutes to get everything working but after a few hours it crashed. It lost all connections to everything so I restarted it. After that he worked until the end of the day. Seems to be a great router. Correctly. Not right. The next day the router didn't work for more than two minutes and I was about 15 feet away

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Definitely bad product
