Works for Ocean City (East Coast) beaches

Look, I don't know if this will hold up for more than a season, but for $30, it lasted the entire summer season down Ocean City, Maryland. I mean you can't rent an umbrella more than a few times for that! It was easy to install, it felt sturdy in the breeze, and I never had any trouble with it.The one downside is that the material is pretty thin, and while I'm sure it protects adequately well, it lets a lot of light through compared to the thicker material umbrellas. Wind Proof best in my review

This beach umbrella is perfect. It has a vent on the top of the umbrella that allows wind to pass through it, which prevents your umbrella from flying off. The base of the pole has a screw so that it can actually stay rooted.

It's a great beach umbrella.

This will be great for visiting the beach this summer. We love near one of the great lakes and go to the beach often.I love that this has a very bag with strap, so hands free to carry other things. The end to put in the sand is threaded like a screw to get good placement. The pole comes apart at the half way point and locks in place with the spring loaded button as seen on some of the pics. Then the white knob is used to stabilize the top half of the pole.The fabric is thicker than I expected…

Worth my money and it's sturdy and light weight

This umbrella was everything. My friends helped me set it up and it was super easy. We put in the sand and dig really deep and good so the wind don’t blow. It stood the whole time while was at the beach. My friend’s and I love it and may buy another one. Who knows lol. It also easy to put back in the bag too. Just take good care of it and everything will be fine and it will work great.

Good, but not great long term

This is a story of Mr. Right or Mr. Rightnow. I do not see this umbrella lasting many trips. After a few days of light wind the metal started to separate the umbrella from the pole! That should not happen! (see picture). I was using a lot of options (see other picture) and certainly the oldest/cheapest umbrella is putting in something crazy like its 20th trip.I will say that this fared better then the more expensive dark blue umbrellas suffered a catastrophic even.Over all these are relatively…
