I don't like cloverleaf plastic hooks

I have a complete set of cloverleaf hooks with ergonomic handles. The ones with metal hooks are great, the ones with plastic hooks are slow and don't let me work smoothly and easily. I'm going to redesign the scarf I'm making so I don't have to use large plastic hooks.

Pros
  • Wide range
Cons
  • Expandable

Convenient hook! in crochet

Such a smooth knit with this crochet. I used it for making kitchen washcloths (tulle) and it's perfect. It is comfortable in the hand and the hand does not get tired. It's well done too. My black labrador pup grabbed it and it came out unscathed with just a few bite marks on the handle! I love this hook. There will probably be more in different sizes.

Pros
  • Excellent workmanship
Cons
  • The packaging is ugly

so soft! Makes crocheting so much faster

I bought this needle because I lost my sewing needle in my hobby lobby and was immediately amazed at the difference. Specifically how smooth it was and how much faster I could crochet. I didn't think my old one was bad until I tried this one. No catch! The grip is also comfortable. From now on I only buy Clover brand hooks.

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Having trouble

A dependable hook that goes with hooks

Clover Armor are great hooks in every way. They are comfortable and reliable. I've always been a little disappointed that 8mm and larger hooks are plastic rather than metal. I'm not sure why they aren't metal because it changes the glide when crocheting with plastic versus metal. Bigger quality hooks are hard to find and they work better than any other plastic hooks I've used. I have a few of these.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Functionality

Love it! I've never had a plastic hook.

I love it! I've never had a plastic hook before, but now they're my favorite! The ergonomics are also excellent. I have arthritis in my hands and can knit all day without much discomfort. I also like the fact that the hook is longer than the handle. My other ergonomic metal hooks are much shorter, which causes some difficulties when using popular bulky and super bulky threads. I am very happy with the crochet and would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who crochet.

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Not the best

The best of three! best crochet hooks

From left to right I tried knitting Pride, Prym and Clover Amour. The worst was the Pride knit (the head was too big/bulky and the hook shank was too narrow and long) while the Prym knit wasn't bad - a medium sized hook in my opinion. I liked the Clover Amour for my project as it is perfect in every way, which is important to me. The head is the perfect size, the stem thickens up quickly so I don't have to pull the thread too far, making sewing faster and easier. Definitely recommend this hook!

Pros
  • sequins
Cons
  • vulgarity

Best crochet hook I've bought in a long time

My mother had bought a set of crochet hooks in the early 70's which was passed on to me. They are made of the same material as this hook but I can no longer use them because they are not ergonomic. I am very happy that I found this brand! The hooks are of excellent quality and while they are anything like the ones I inherited from my mother they will last a very long time. Whether you've been crocheting for a long time like me or you're a beginner, you need good tools. These hooks are top…

Pros
  • Good value for money
Cons
  • thin

Ideal for all knitters, especially useful for those with carpal tunnel syndrome, fibromyalgia or arthritis. I have trifecta of that. I can crochet for hours without the pain I used to have with my favorite aluminum hooks. Clover is a quality brand, this crochet hook is lightweight and slides easily through thick chenille yarn for which I use size 9mm. I honestly couldn't knit without an ergonomic crochet hook anymore, and after 36 years why not treat yourself to the best. I promise you will…

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • No machine

Good deep crochet hook for bulky yarn

I'm new to crocheting so keep that in mind. I tried crocheting a few years ago but the yarn kept falling off the hook and it was a worsted yarn. Now I love working with bulky yarn and have tried a few crochet hooks to no avail. This hook is deep enough for thick yarn. I wish the hook had a little more grip (less slippage in the deep part of the hook) but I think it's due to my lack of knowledge on how to properly maintain tension. The grip is soft and comfortable to hold unlike the metal grips…

Pros
  • High test scores for hold and durability
Cons
  • Not as thick as others
