Some nice features. But

I bought this GPS for a trip from Maine to Florida. While it put me on a good route through Connecticut and gave me detailed information about upcoming turns, this thing got me through downtown Washington DC during the morning rush hour. When I got to Florida, for some unknown reason, this thing didn't tell me the next turn until I passed the intersection. I'm better with Mapquest.

DO NOT BUY Cobra GPSM 2100

I have been trying to update maps and COBRA is $129! I could buy a newer device and get updated maps and other features. COBRA was outraged, stating that this model had been discontinued a few years ago and they would only update the maps for $129. The maps that are on the model are more than a few years old. If they treat their customers like this, I will never buy a Cobra product again!

I tried COBRA and was disappointed. We tried searching for restaurants and the three places we tried weren't in the system. When we tried to enter a restaurant that we knew was in a specific location, COBRA did not recognize the location we were looking for. Also, the device asked us to go to the "assigned street" after entering the selected restaurant, but didn't direct us (like a GPS should) to the street. One street we were directed to wasn't a real street and there were rocks on the other…

Unique features + performance comparable to high-end models

GPS with speed camera detection and red light camera location offers perks like a free cup of coffee that you can't buy with another high degree of shame. I didn't buy this because it was cheap on a reputable site, but because of its unique features (free updates + camera tracking that you can't buy with expensive devices. Reliable easy to use portable GPS

Went to the store with intentions of buying a TomTom One or Garmin GPS for a comparable price which I researched online last week. Really confusing given that all the GPS reviews I've read haven't provided a clear explanation as to why one is rated above the other.
