When I used them to sand wood (oak and walnut) they literally broke in front of my nose after about two minutes of sanding. I used the largest diameter in the set and 80 grit. I did not use any other sizes or grit. I also don't think the other grains are labeled correctly, ie. 400 grit looked more like 220 grit. I wouldn't recommend them, but if you do use them I would suggest using a face shield or at least wearing safety goggles. They are nowhere near as good as the Dremel brand. I think you…

I read a review that was unhappy about the sanding rollers not fitting Dremel tools. The cone keeps them in place longer than the straight sided versions. I love it. I rarely remove the screw heads to hold the drums in place and my 6 year old grandson can change drums since the screw heads don't have to be over tightened. Paper wear seems reasonable. Collet grip is good. We work with wood that is no harder than dried silver maple. It may be different for those working with harder woods. Good…

I was very disappointed with this purchase. A ruler of sorts is photographed to show the actual size of these drums. A box was needed, there's no way to organize all those drums. With so many of these drums, they should have provided a box. These drums came boxed. Ziplock bags and then 7 more non-resealable plastic bags. You'll need some sort of organizer to group these drums together for your tasks and projects. This is not a durability product, it is a consumable item. Use it and throw it…

There are a few things I like about this product. First, there are three mandrels for each grit. Rather than swapping bushings on the mandrels on the fly, I simply swap out the mandrel with the grit I need. There were also several additional mandrels of each size. The only problem I have is that most mandrels are 1/8 inch while others are smaller. However, there are two collets, one for each size, and I have two tools, so I have a different collet in each, so that's a bit of a problem. The…

Good news: the sockets fit and work well with a Dremel 4300 flex shaft (I have one). All of the mandrels included in the kit fit both types of collets I have and the sanding drums themselves are of decent quality. For every 10 kegs in the package there were only 1 or 2 defective ones. For such a large package, I would call it acceptable. The bad news: sanding drums will NOT fit the Dremel brand mandrels.
