hard and strong - Man's

everything fits perfectly. I was able to easily insert a wild boar or badger brush (on the bristles, not on the handle). There's just enough room for my alum stick to slide to the side behind the brush. It's like it was designed that way on purpose. I use a safety razor, not a Mach3, so I have to place the razor over the top in the groove. The razor sits there perfectly and doesn't run the risk of falling off unless you hit the entire stand. It has survived being soaked and placed in water…

Pros
  • wooden stand for shaving.
Cons
  • sad packaging

Good stand. Very easy. May require a change.

I've had this stand for about a month now. My Mach5 didn't fit into a shaver socket, but I didn't expect that either. However, I was surprised that my Parker 22R fits so poorly. I had to use the dremel on the sides of the razor end of the stand to get the wood under the blade and secure it. Despite this, the razor is precariously balanced, but it works and just needs to stand still. The brush hole was too narrow for my brush. The hole was wide enough, but the bristles of the brush stuck out too

Pros
  • Made of hardwood with a light honey finish
Cons
  • Some imperfections

Ordered with an Escali badger hair brush and a Merkur model 180 DE razor. Both approach him. Roof brush color and it's a close match if that's what you choose. When it comes to things like this, I pay more attention to functionality than to looks. The stand is made in Taiwan, the fit and finish is what you would expect from a woodworking freshman at the end of a four year course. The main base is simply cut on a band saw and the end slope at the bottom is uneven. Where the design was drawn on…

Pros
  • Hardwood rot proof
Cons
  • Poorly thought out
