Excellent Filter Housing

Needed a to filter sand from my well water. I love the large size, durable materials and the clear housing. Seeing the filter limits the amount times I need to open the housing to check for sediment. Worth the cost if you like quality stuff.

  • Water Pressure Issues: The 1" ports can restrict water flow, leading to decreased water pressure and slower water flow throughout the house

Good product, but VERY slow shipping by iFilters

The product is good, but the slow shipping stalled the entire project. I paid them yet they did not ship for 5 days. That's not OK anymore. 3 days MAX, next day is normal.

  • The clear housing and washable pleated filter might seem like an economical solution, but once the need for replacement parts and professional cleaning arises, the costs can add up

Sturdy Housing good for me

This thing works fine so far into a month of use. One drawback: I did not know that the clear transparent housing is not ideal for well water because the (any kind) light fosters the growth of algae. I had to wrap the housing multiple times to prevent light from shining to the water inside the housing. Other than that I have no complaints.

good quality housing

I had no issue with the filter or housing and have bought 2 of them and put a finer 5 micron filter it the second for better filtration. Works great.
