Doesn't hold up with Styling Tools & Appliances

I use a Jilbere product and now that Conair has taken over I've gone through 4 of these last year. I just bought another one but the day before delivery I went to Harmonds Cosmetics and spent $99 (-20% off a bath in bed via the coupon) on a Chi hot air comb. The bristles are hard and I thought I wouldn't like it. Turns out it's a lot better and worth the extra money. Has a cool attitude that really twists the hair. My hair also seems less dry.

Pros
  • I'm looking forward to
Cons
  • Could have gone for a newer model

I like the brush dryer but it's not worth it.

I've had it since May and Conair has changed it 4 times. I like the brush dryer but it's not worth the headache. The bristles flatten very quickly, stop working etc. Very poor quality. I bought an extended warranty as I've had issues with it in the past, but it doesn't work until a year after purchase. You are dealing with Conair under the warranty. They make you pay to send it back and try to charge you $5 to send a new one. They will refuse $5 if you let them ask for a manager. They just sent

Pros
  • Crossing my fingers

  • Big and bulky

Heater died after 6 months

I gave this one a star because the heater stopped working after only 6 months. I didn't need much either. I've always loved this Conair hot air brush. It was easy to use, heats up a lot and dries hair quickly. This was my third. The first lasted a few years before the heating element stopped working. Although the second didn't seem to last that long. I received this in November and the heating element was dead in April. Big disappointment. $40 isn't a lot, but it's a lot when I need to replaceโ€ฆ

ALWAYS LEAVE after the warranty has expired.

This is my sixth brush. Also bought from Sally. This time from Amazon with a guarantee. Once again just stop working after 10 months. with a guarantee was a lot of trouble, don't bother! Luckily for Revane, however, they were kind enough to give it back to me once. I reordered another one, I didn't get a guarantee, it's up $6. This will be the LAST time I will buy Conair. I just love the brush. But they get richer and I get poorer. Revain shouldn't be selling this brush.

Dangerous hot air.

I have been using this hot air brush for 8 years. When Gibere owned the company, that brush stopped. I have bought 2 since Conair took over. Both brushes stopped working a few months after purchase. They overheat and burn out even with moderate use. This overheating damages your hair and is very uncomfortable for your scalp. I will not throw money away for someone else.

Pros
  • hands free

  • wrinkled

Breaks right away Best in hair combs

So this curling comb is my favorite hair styling tool. if I can make it longer than 3 uses. I keep buying it because I like it. But it never lasts again. I had one that served me for years. Since I had to buy a new one, I went through 4. They have all lasted less than a month or around 3-4 uses. Conair is very difficult to find a replacement. If your product breaks for no reason after less than a few uses, I don't think I should have to pay for the return and replacement. I requested aโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Like everything before

  • Unbelievable price

IDEAL for thin, fine, straight hair.

This is my "in the closet" backup. I have thin, thin straight hair and I usually use this as my only styling tool. It doesn't work without him!

  • GOLS certified

Short life - less than 6 months.

This was a replacement for the same product I have been using for about 5 years. I bought this in March 2018 and it stopped working on 7/22/18. I went through the product troubleshooting process with no results. Other reviewers had similar issues. If the seller fixes this issue I will edit this review. I like the pear brush when it works. 6/4/19: I liked the brush so much that I bought another one. Fool me once - shame on you, Fool me twice - shame on me. I am ashamed. This one didn't lastโ€ฆ

  • Great range

Good design, low quality product

Have ordered this product several times over the last 5 years - have had overheating issues on at least 4 hair dryers, one of which I bought less than 10 years ago Bought 6 months ago, still heats up. I only use it on low heat due to previous overheating issues. but this one has bristles that break and lie flat - very strange for an item that is stored upright because when I'm done drying my hair it's too hot to put under my closet or in a basket. So disappointing - I don't understand whyโ€ฆ
